While our modern-day Hussars battle in the arena at the Heroes’ Square, you might want to indulge in all the goodies the Hungarian cuisine has to offer.

Just a stone throw from the com- petition site, all the way from Műcsarnok to the 1956 monument, a gigantic kitchen, the Kitchen of Hungary awaits you with meaty delicacies. Jó étvágyat!

This year, it’s all about traditional meat dishes – enjoy the delicacies of the Hungarian cuisine, the pride of the native animal husbandry: the mangalitsa, the Hungarian grey cattle, the goose and all the delicious fish our lakes and rivers have to offer!
Of course there’s no Hungarian meal and no Hungarian festival without a glass of wine or a shot of pálinka to help your stomach deal with all that meat. This year’s novelty at the National Gallop: a whole Wine- and Pálinka village, dedi- cated to all those heavenly spirits Magyarland has in store for us. And if you’re in a good mood already, the jolly folk tunes will surely make you dance – look forward to ecstatic concerts in the evenings Saturday to Sunday!
